No, I’m not doing a Demi and strip! Weeks ago, I bought Strip Tease cold wax so I can try waxing myself, meaning my UA and half leg. I’ve been a Lay Bare customer for years now and they never disappointed me. I prefer waxing than shaving because it’ll take 3 weeks for hair in the legs to regrow and a month in the UA. Also, waxing makes the UA and hair legs thinner and after waxing, I can’t stop looking at my legs because it’s much more fairer and smoother!
So, for a change, why not do it on my own? Luckily, I was able to chance upon Strip Tease on SM San Lazaro’s supermarket and I excitedly bought the 100g for 150php. Cheap right? I opted for the 100g for trial purposes as I might not be good in waxing.
The package comes with an instruction and information pamphlet, spatula, 10 pieces of washable cloths and of course the wax. The wax is made of 100% organic ingredients so it’s not harmful. Waxing also exfoliates and removes dead skin cells which will make your skin smooth.
The wax is soooo sweet smelling and the consistency reminds me of a coco jam. Tinapay please!
I took a bath first so my skin will be clean and free from any sweats, but according to the pamphlet, I can put powder on my skin before waxing to remove any sweats or oils (just like they do in Lay Bare). I prepared the “paraphernelias” (don’t forget to put towel under your legs so it will catch some melted wax) and braved myself and started waxing, the pulling doesn’t hurt but the application does but it’s tolerable. I actually used up the cloths so I did the Lay Bare style and just put wax on my fingers, rolled it and started pulling using only the wax. It worked! While waxing, I noticed that my legs are again fairer and smoother and I loooove it so much. *pats my back for successfully waxing my leg*
After waxing, I have to remove the the excess wax left on my legs using a damp cloth and washed the cloths used for the waxing. The good thing is, the cloths are washable so I don’t need to worry on buying another set of cloths. All in all, the waxing took me 20 minutes and another 10 minutes for washing the cloths.
The verdict: I will definitely buy again since it’s the same results as Lay Bare and also much cheaper than going to waxing salons.
Ms. Hilda, the owner of Strip Tease is so kind enough to offer me a 10% discount on my next purchase. Yay! Thanks, Ms. Hilda!

Aaack! It’s been weeks again since my last blog. Aion is taking too much of my blog time.
Anyhoo, love love love the color of my nails today! It’s from The Faceshop, a Korean brand of cosmetics and all I can say is, I can’t stop looking at my nails. The color is pearly-orangey-reddish but the color on the picture is more of an orange (I hate orange pa naman). But believe me, the color is so pretty!
I also bought nail lacquers the other day in Greenhills, and the salelady told me it’s from Korea. I will check if it’s indeed from Korea and will also make a swatch. So for now, will continue staring at my nails.
Ta!

I know, I know, I know. It’s been a month since I last blogged. My internship has been crazy and I have to do another make-up duty for 5 days for a 1 day late. My school is, most of the time, shitty. Also, I have to do 3 case studies for the wards that I was rotated in and another one for my make-up duty. Again, it sucks but I love doing case studies. Yep, that’s the nerd in me.
To make the week less insane, I have now started playing Aion again, on the real server since they have offered it now for free! Yay! I was playing on the private server before, DivineAion but due to bugs, I stopped playing. Above is my sorceress character, Daeneryz, a lowbie for now since I’m using my bf’s ranger character. Yep, that’s the gamer in me. A friend of mine also gave me Diablo 3 key passes so I can try it again and convince me to buy. But, not yet. I have Aion for now.
Ta!
I bought the chips for it’s “airy” contents.
